At the start of the 2013/14 kendo season, Renshinjuku kendo dojo moved to a new training hall. After years of good service, the Westend hall was being decomissioned by the city council and thus we’d have to move to a modern hall. Gone are the wooden floors, but there’s also some bonuses. The hall is larger than the previous one and the dressing rooms are a bit more spacious. Best of all: apparently there’s an AC to keep us fresh during summer.
- The 3D render of the dojo is owned by the Amstelveen City Council.
