Time for the annual Fumetsu Cup, organized by the Rotterdam Fumetsu dojo. Once again our gracious hosts put together a wonderful competition, in which 56 kendoka participated this year. Eighteen teams of three and one of two were put together randomly, pitting groups of complete strangers against both friends and strangers.
The top two teams included kenshi from Renshinjuku: the winning team had Nick Kistemaker and second place went to the team which included Zicarlo van Aalderen. Nick and Zicarlo fought eachother in the day’s final match. Exciting!
